The Holy Spirit Women's Club is a spiritual, social and service ministry for all women of the Holy Spirit Family. No application is necessary. We promote fellowship and service
within our church community through monthly meetings which offer a wide range of topics and events to accommodate the diversity of the women in the parish. The meetings present
opportunities to meet new friends over dinner while enjoying and learning from inspiring guest speakers.
Our calendar begins in the fall and ends with our spring luncheon. On occasion there are special events scheduled over the summer break. Recent speakers and topics have included
"Snapdragons and Sangria!" with Nancy Patterson of the Lucy Guild; "Family Law Issues" presented by Attorney Richard Nolen, Superior Court Judge Lark Ingram and Canon Lawyer Father
Paul Burke; parishioner Brenda Simko leading a holiday baking class; and the Celtic Acoustic Christmas, with dinner provided compliments of Carole Parks Catering and parishioners
David and Kay Dempsey. Annual events include a Christmas Coffee (December 16, 2010), Lenten Retreat (March 15, 2011) and Spring Luncheon (date TBD). All women of the parish are
encouraged to help the Holy Spirit Women's Club identify programs that are of interest to women of different ages--and life stages--within our community. Volunteers interested
in helping plan and execute the many events throughout the year can email Lisa Herman at
